Solo Female Travel | About Wine & Wild

At Wine and Wild we create women-first journeys across South Africa designed around safety connection and authentic experiences that stays with you.

Why Choose
Wine & Wild?

Wine and Wild was born from a passion for South Africa’s breathtaking landscapes, warm, wonderful people and a deep understanding of the unique needs of solo female travelers. Founded by a team of experienced travel enthusiasts who recognized that many women were hesitant to explore South Africa despite their desire to experience its wonders, Wine and Wild bridges the gap between adventure and security.

Our founders, a mom-and-daughter team, are born and bred locals who have traveled extensively throughout South Africa themselves, and understood that the country’s reputation often overshadowed its incredible beauty and warm hospitality. We envisioned creating a travel experience where women could feel completely at ease while immersing themselves in South Africa’s rich tapestry of cultures, cuisines, and natural splendors.
